UNESCO Chair on STEM Education (TRRISE) Continues Its Partnership with APEX Chemistry 2026
The UNESCO Chair on STEM Education (TRRISE – Transfer of Research Results into STEM Education), hosted by the National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP), is proud to continue its partnership with the APEX Chemistry Summer School for the 2026 edition. Building on the successful collaboration established in 2025, this partnership reflects the Chair’s mission of bringing cutting-edge scientific research closer to young learners through innovative, research-based STEM education.
APEX Chemistry 2026 is a three-week international residential program that offers talented high school students an immersive experience in modern chemical research through lectures, laboratory activities, seminars, and visits to leading research institutions. Under the guidance of internationally renowned scientists and university professors, participants will explore advanced topics in chemistry while developing critical thinking, experimental skills, and a passion for scientific discovery.
As a partner, the UNESCO Chair on STEM Education contributes to the program by promoting excellence in STEM education, facilitating the transfer of research results into learning experiences, and inspiring the next generation of scientists through direct interaction with researchers and state-of-the-art research infrastructure. This collaboration exemplifies the Chair’s commitment to fostering curiosity, innovation, and equitable access to high-quality STEM education for young people.
