APEX-Chemistry 2025 is an intensive and immersive 3-weeks-long summer residential program offering a unique opportunity to get a taste of organic chemistry research and scientific discovery. The participants – a maximum number of 36 – will be able to experience the world of research from within, as they will explore new chemical concepts under the guidance of top internationally recognized university professors. Among the invited professors are Jean-Marie Lehn (University of Strasbourg, Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1987), Adrian Șalic (Harvard Medical School), Niculina Hădade (Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca), Ivan Huc (Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich), Mihaela Matache (University of Bucharest), and Mihaela Florea (National Institute for Research and Development in Materials Physics, Măgurele).
The camp follows an intensive format and includes lectures, seminars, and a wide range of laboratory activities, held in the laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Bucharest and the National Institute for Research and Development in Materials Physics.
